First Time taking a country sports break
Whether you are looking for a day trip or longer break the South West is the ideal country sport location. Offering a wide selection of activities, from, horse riding, fly fishing, clay pigeon shooting, pheasant shooting to deer stalking the choice is endless.
The South West is also a fabulous location to learn all of these sports. If you have always dreamt about riding through the Cornish countryside on horse back, ever wanted to learn how to shoot on the moorlands of Exmoor or wanted to fish on the banks of the River Dart, you are in the right place.
How to start?
- If you are keen to have a go and try some of our traditional field sports but don't know where to start don't be put off. Many providers around the region provide training and will help to develop your skills. What's more it can be great fun learning a new sport and where better to learn than in the South West.
