November industry newsletter - High Google rankings for country sports

The country sports South West website is growing fast and now appearing high in the Google listings page, which is great news for the businesses listed.  If your business has already taken advantage of the free listing on our new consumer website www.countrysportssouthwest.co.uk please ensure you have checked your page and let us know about any changes you need to make.

Enhancing the online visitor experience

The next phase of the website will be implemented shortly as we are continually tracking the traffic to ensure visitors are utilising all aspects of the website. The home page will be altered and we will be introducing a specific accommodation search listing which will be separate from the current activity search. This is so that we capture visitors from both angles, depending on whether they are searching for activities in the first instance or accommodation.

If you have received any business referrals via the country sports website please do let us know, as it is important the website is performing for your business and helping to generate awareness and bookings. Have you linked to us?

If you haven't already please ensure you have linked back to our website, to show your support for the country sports campaign and to highlight activities that visitors can take part in around the region. The website also contains ‘how to' guides, explaining what visitors need to bring if they are fishing, shooting or riding for the first time, which could be useful for your guests.
