This beat, like Treburtle downstream, is a long beat providing brown trout and grayling fishing. There is a good head of trout around the 10" mark although it has produced a monster of 2lb in the past.
An open and easy to fish stretch of the middle Tamar owned by Launceston Anglers Association. Bedrock dominates the middle of the beat with gravely pools and runs above and below.
A beautiful 300m long curving lake set in the delightful Carey valley with a lovely woodland backdrop.
