Young Shots' Introduction to Country Sports days

Do your kids have an interest in country sports? Well this is their opportunity to try out several different activities without landing you with an enormous outlay.

This year BASC are running four ‘Introduction to Country Sports' days, in association with local BASC-affiliated clubs and associations. Each day is designed to give youngsters a taste of different countryside activities, including clay shooting under the instruction of BASC accredited coaches, air rifle shooting and a selection of different activities such as ferreting, pigeon decoying, wildfowling, fishing, and gundogs.

This year's dates are as follows:

• Saturday 26 May - Newquay, Cornwall
• Saturday 16 June - Highbridge, Somerset
• Sunday 24 June - Shaftesbury, Dorset
• Saturday 7 July - Lydney, Gloucestershire

The cost is £20 per child, per day. Application forms can either be downloaded from the BASC South West diary page here or contact the South West centre by email southwest@basc.org.uk  or call 01823 490 903 and we will send one to you.
