Maristow is located approximately 6 miles west of Plymouth and 7 miles south of Tavistock on the South Western edge of Dartmoor.
The Maristow Estate extends to 6,000 acres with the land rising from the Tavy Estuary to around 600 feet above sea level providing the topography for the characteristically stunning presentation of classic high Devon pheasant and partridge. We have 10 main drives which suit all levels of team's capabilities. The signature drives are The Rock, Small Valley, Maddicotts and Southwood.
We are able to accommodate both single and double gun days as well as back-to-back, if required. Normal daily bag volumes can be from a minimum of 250 birds up to 400. Estate loaders can be provided on request. Maristow is happy for guns to shoot with plastic wad cartridges and keeps a supply should anyone forget. We do not operate a gun bus and therefore need to be notified in advance as to how many guns will be in 4x4's.
